Erin Hawker has over 20-years experience as a communications expert, concentrating on marketing and public relations within the fashion and lifestyle industries. She is well-known among the fashion editorial community in New York and Europe, especially for her work with Diesel, Target and DKNY.

Throughout her work in the industry, in agencies and in in-house positions, Hawker has established a solid reputation in womenswear, menswear and accessories public relations. In addition to public relations, she has extensive experience in advertising, special events, runway shows, VIP client relations and brand management on both the client and agency sides.

Before starting Agentry PR, she worked for four years as head of press and publicity at Diesel USA, a $2B global company based in Italy with a U.S. headquarters in New York. She directly oversaw the publicity for the fashion/accessory divisions of Diesel, Diesel Black Gold and 55DSL as well as the lifestyle licensing partnerships with Moroso, Foscarini, Zucchi, Fiat, AGV, Adidas, Safilo, Fossil and L’Oreal. Prior to Diesel, Hawker was the Vice President of public relations for the fashion and luxury division of LaForce+Stevens, a large NYC based public relations agency. Clients that she directly oversaw included fast fashion such as the GO INTERNATIONAL program for Target and JcPenney; niche and luxury brands such as Roland Mouret, Judith Leiber, Tanner Krolle, Allegra Hicks, Elise Ferare, Sperry, Banana Republic and Franklin Elman.

Hawker has also worked as marketing communications director for VERTU, the luxury cell phone maker; global public relations director for DKNY, and in various capacities on brands such as Vivienne Tam, Elie Tahari, Magaschoni Apparel Group, Via Spiga, BluCaos Liquor, Kramer Guitars and the restaurant Mangia. Hawker also served as the special events manager at the Fashion Group International and was one of the founding partners in IIKH, New Yorks first eco luxury boutique.

Erin was born and raised in Wisconsin, and holds a degree in journalism from the University of Wisconsin.
